Power of Two

Dr. Kristin Bernard is a proud co-founder of Power of Two, a community-based organization based in New York City whose mission is to nurture the inherent potential in every child through the support of the Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC) intervention.  This home-visiting program, which has been rigorously studied, has been shown to contribute to key developmental outcomes for children between the ages of six months and 48 months. Since 2015, Power of Two has delivered the ABC program to over 4,000 families in New York City.  The DSPL lab maintains a close partnership with Power of Two and continues to examine the impacts of ABC on children and families.  Students from our lab have ample opportunities to collaborate with Power of Two on research projects, and some have selected to serve as ABC parent coaches as part of their clinical training.
