Prospective Students
Graduate
Dr. Kristin Bernard will not be reviewing graduate student applications for the 2025-2026 academic year.

If you have any questions about the Developmental Stress & Prevention Lab specifically, feel free to reach out to Dr. Bernard or the graduate students for additional information.
Undergraduates
Undergrad research assistants are central to our lab’s work! They are key members of the DSPL team, alongside graduate student researchers, post-doctoral scholars, and project staff. As an undergraduate research assistant,
you will have opportunities to take on multiple roles in the lab, such as: behavioral coding of parent-child interactions, data collection, interview transcription, data entry and management, IRB protocol support, generating independent research projects with a graduate-student mentor, helping with participant recruitment and
screening, and participation in weekly lab meetings! For more information about undergraduate research opportunities in the Developmental Stress and Prevention Lab, please contact Dr. Bernard via email at kristin.bernard@stonybrook.edu.
